Lauren Willmann started dancing at the age of 12 years old and fell in love. She immediately started taking all styles of dance simultaneously, dancing as much as possible, and never stopped. Lauren is a proud graduate of Oklahoma City University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Dance Pedagogy with a minor in Mass Communications. The classes she most enjoyed were Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Dance History I and II, Teaching Strategies, and Choreography Theory. Since graduating, Lauren became a member of Urban Performing Company in Dallas, TX. She has now relocated to Chicago, IL where she trains and is a member of Hip Hop ConnXion HQ.
She loves performing, but another passion is creating choreography, as well as teaching all styles of dance to all ages! She has taught many classes at numerous studios across Texas, Oklahoma, and Illinois. Lauren was even the Performance Team director at McKinney Dance Studio. She currently tours the country as a teaching assistant with Manhattan Dance Project and The ConnXion Experience conventions.
